Brandi M. Marks

Prior to founding Full House Events, Brandi spent more than a decade working with non-profits, academic institutions, corporations, campaigns and government entities creating unique events and helping to achieve a wide range of institutional advancement objectives. With a background in development and fundraising, Brandi understands the intricacies of philanthropy, both from the perspective of the donor/sponsor and that of the charity, school, campaign or civic group relying upon their support.

Brandi began her career with New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman, eventually serving as Deputy Chief of Protocol. In 2001 and 2002, Brandi served as Director of Special Events and Alumni Outreach at New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, where she managed the first interactive public hearing in Lower Manhattan following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Also in 2002, Brandi traveled the country with the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation and victims’ family members to research memorials in preparation for the World Trade Center memorial mission statement and international design competition.

In 2003, Brandi was named Director of Donor Relations for the New York City Host Committee, a non-profit organization which was responsible for raising nearly $65 million to host the 2004 Republican National Convention. Following the Convention in 2004, Brandi launched BLM Strategies, LLC with two partners.

For six successful years, BLM Strategies counseled charities, companies and political campaigns with fundraising and development services as well as strategic planning. Brandi now provides these services under the umbrella of Full House Partners and Full House Events, LLC. Her fundraising and development clients include the National Republican Senatorial Committee, Republican Leadership Council, OpSail, the New Jersey State Opera and more.

In 2008, Brandi co-founded Full House Events, LLC, focusing on event production, sponsorship fulfillment, venue marketing and business development. Since its inception, Full House has counseled a variety of clients, including the Minneapolis-St. Paul Host Committee for the 2008 Republican National Convention, Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey, the Rutgers Alumni Association, the National Park Service, the Morris County Tourism Bureau, Lighthouse International Film Festival on Long Beach Island, New Jersey and many others. Brandi helped the Arthritis Foundation’s New Jersey Chapter to achieve its most successful auction to date, increasing revenue by more than 50%. In 2010, Brandi helped bring Porgy and Bess to historic Newark Symphony Hall and was credited with successful fundraising events on behalf of numerous non-profits in a challenging financial climate.

Additionally, Brandi serves as the Event Manager for First Night Morris County, where she has helped guide New Jersey’s biggest and brightest New Year’s Eve celebration successfully through its 19th year. With 20+ venues, more than 80 performances and thousands of attendees, First Night is a testament to the type of turnkey service provided by Full House Events.

Brandi has served on the board of Jersey Cares, New Jersey’s largest volunteer organization, and has donated her time for numerous other charitable projects. She graduated from Rutgers College and served as a director of the Rutgers Alumni Association. Brandi resides in Morristown, New Jersey.
